As with all cellular based Internet devices from Sprint, Verizon or T-mobile, it comes down to how good your signal is in the exact area that you are planning on using it. As long as you are getting a strong 4G signal, the Overdrive will work just as well as any other high speed Broadband source like Cable Internet. 4G can give you speeds of 4-8Mbps pretty regularly. There are plenty of people who game on the slower 3G networks, so 4G will be MUCH better…once again assuming your signal is good. If you barely get a signal, then, you guessed it, it won’t work that well. Luckily all the carriers give you 30 days to try the service before the contract goes into effect. If it works well, keep it. If not simply return it! If you still need an Overdrive the link below has one for $39 which is the lowest I’ve seen.
